Camprofile Gaskets

consist of metal core, with concentric grooves on either side. A sealing layer is usually applied on both sides and depending on the service duty of the material such as graphite, PTHFE, asbestos free gasket sheeting materials or metal (e.g: aluminium or silver).

PROPERTIES
  • The wide seating stress range (minimum to maximum seating stress) of the camprofile gasket makes it.
  • Highly suitable for varying temperature and pressures.
  • Less sensitive to assembly faults (inaccurate bolt tensioning).
  • Suitable for light and heavy designed flanges.
  • Dependent upon the layer material Camprofile Gasket cab resist temperature up to approx. 1000°c.
  • Resistant to media pressures up to 250 bar.
  • When assembled the remaining thickness of the sealing materials is extremely low (0.1-0.2mm), thus reducing leaks, fail rates and environment pollution.
  • The gasket will not damage the flanges surface and can be easily removed.
  • Re-usable after cleaning, inspection (including profile tracing) and relayed with new sealing materials.
  • Reduces maintenance cost and leakage.

Advantages of Parallel Root Cores:

Uniform spread of stress at the cams.
Uniform spread of stress across the flange surfaces.

Advantages of Convex Root Cores:

Highly suitable for under bolted flanges.
Effective seal at low seating stress.
The gasket design ensures seating stress area (center) and a lower seating stress area (gasket’s outside).

Features as standard profile with a 1 mm cam pitch and a maximum groove depth of 0.5mm.
